As you know I really like Jill Shalvis. Her books are always fun, interesting and sexy.
Smart and sexy is a good book. I like the second book on the series next but this one was good as well.
After more than 6 months without flying Noah had just gotten back behind the controls of an airplane when Bailey Sinclair hijacked it. She is on the run looking for the money her dead husband hid away somewhere. Someone wants that money and is willing to kill her to get it.
Noah, who always had a crush on Bailey, decides he will help her and is thrown in the middle of trouble.
Bailey was a nice character but I just couldn’t seem to connect to her. She finds herself involved in a difficult situation and has to take extreme measures to get out of it. Bailey was a trophy wife so it was nice seeing her find her courage and attitude.
Now, Noah I liked. Jill Shalvis’ male characters are always interesting, complex and damn sexy. Noah is no exception. Like the title of the book implies he’s strong and sexy and caring and patient.
The relationship between Noah and Bailey was well-written and it developed nicely.
One thing I love about Jill Shalvis is her ability to create great dialogue between the characters. Banter and good humor is always present in her books.
All in all this is a good book. The story is interesting, the relationship between the characters captivating and the suspense well written.
This is not my favorite book by Jill Shalvis but is definitely worth your time. This is the first book in a great series you might want to check out.
