Summary
And you think you’ve had a bad day?

City girl Breanne Mooreland gets left at the altar, takes the flight from hell to her honeymoon—alone—loses her luggage, and ends up snowed in at a Sierra mountains lodge run by the kookiest staff this side of the Addams Family. Oh, and there's a gorgeous naked man taking a shower in her suite who says he isn't going anywhere. That's just the first 24 hours.

Burned-out vice cop Cooper Scott is in serious need of this vacation, and he's not about to give up the only available room because an upset—okay, make that insane—woman is having a conniption fit. They'll just have to make the best of it—her side of the bed versus his. But when Cooper wakes up kissing the long, leggy Breanne, he wants to show her exactly what the honeymoon suite is intended for. But that will have to wait, because a screaming Breanne has just stumbled on a very dead body. So much for vacation...

Review:
I really like Jill Shalvis and so far none of her books has disappointed me. Get a Clue is a well-written and entertaining book I really enjoyed.
After being left at the altar Breanne decided to enjoy her honeymoon and departs to a secluded vacation house in the Sierras. Everything seems to happen to her: her flight is horrible, her luggage is lost and there’s a massive blizzard trapping her inside the vacation house with the staff that seems to disappear and appear at will as well as a mysterious man she finds in her shower.
To complicate things even more Breanne stumbles into a dead body!
Get a clue was a fun read. Jill Shalvis was able to blend romance, humor and mystery perfectly.
Breanne is an interesting character. She’s funny, a little clumsy, intelligent and determined not to get involved with another man. The problem is she can’t seem to stay away from the man she finds in her shower. Used to getting what she wants, she’ll have to learn how to deal with that demanding man yet protective man.
Cooper is a very solid male lead. He’s strong, intelligent, determined, sweet and protective. I loved the fact he couldn’t seem to resist Breanne. He just wanted to get his hands on her and convince her they could have a real relationship.
The mysterious staff was also very interesting. I liked all the characters in a way or another.
This is another great book by Jill Shalvis. It’s well written, easy to read and entertaining. I would recommend it to all contemporary romance lovers.
