Summary:
A reluctant vampire hunter, stalking New York City as only a scorned bride can.
Elle Dupree has her life all figured out: first a wedding, then her Ph.D., then swank faculty parties where she’ll serve wine and cheese and introduce people to her husband the lawyer.
But those plans disintegrate when she walks in on a vampire sucking the blood from her fiancé, Greg. Horrified, she screams and runs—not away from the vampire, but toward it, brandishing a wooden letter opener.
As she slams the improvised stake into the vampire’s heart, a team of black-clad men bursts into the apartment. Turning to face them, Elle realizes Greg’s body is gone—and her perfect life falls apart

Review:
I have received this book as part of a blog tour in exchange of an honest review.
I ended up really enjoying this book and the characters and I can’t wait to see what the author will do next.
This book has more of a classical take on vampires. They are the bad guys in this story – they bite humans for blood and they can’t go out in the daylight – and, after so many new takes vampires, I enjoyed this.
My favorite part of this book was probably Elle. She’s a wonderful heroine an I loved how strong, determined and smart she was. Her life changes completely one day but instead of breaking down she gathers her strength and fights back.
All in all, Legally Undead is a very interesting and well-written book with a kickass main character that was able to keep me interested in her story right from the start.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
