Summary:
Addison Caldwell has her future laid out before her. She has good friends, applications in the mail for PA school, and sweaty yoga to take the edge off of her lack of love life. Just when she finds herself right where she wants to be, Addison stumbles on a familiar stranger standing before her at a coffee shop. He’s beautiful and brilliant. She’s immediately drawn to him and can’t put her finger on how she could possibly have met him before. She finds herself tumbling head first toward a man that she knows is in a league composed solely of him and a bevy of Victoria Secret Supermodels.

Review:
I have received this book as part of a blog tour in exchange of an honest review.
Addison is drawn by Holden since the first time they meet at a coffee shop where she is studying. When she runs into him again at the hospital where he works they decide to go out together. The more time they spend together, the more they are attracted to each other but when Addison has to leave the city and Holden leaves her a note saying things between them have gone too far, their future together might be at risk.
Addison is a very good main character. She’s strong and determined and I found it easy to like and relate to her.
Holden is great as well. He might look like a playboy who has it all but he’s actually very sweet, understanding and just great. I like characters like him that are more than what they seem.
I liked the way the relationship between Addison and Holden developed. They were clearly attracted to each other but they actually spend the time getting to know each other before anything really happens between them and I couldn’t help but wish for things to work out for them..
Plot wise, Addison and Holden’s relationship is threatened by their choices, insecurities and secondary characters..
All in all, Clementine is a sweet, angsty and fun read. The book is well-written and nicely paced. The story is easy to read and was able to keep me interesting. I wanted to see if Addison and Holden would indeed find a way to be together.
If you enjoy a good New Adult story, give this book a try.
